Esteemed Cardiologist Says Commercial Interests Are Distorting Evidence Behind Statins

Dr. Aseem Malhotra, a cardiologist from the UK, says pharmaceutical company-sponsored research distorts the scientific evidence behind the effectiveness of cholesterol-lowering statins against heart disease.

<p>Dosage: 1 gram of omega-3s (330 mg EPA plus 660 mg DHA) per day, 2,000 IU of vitamin D per day, and 30 minutes of strength training exercises three times per week</p>
